Objectives of the Trust
A Commitment to Public Welfare Without Discrimination of Caste, Creed, or Religion
The Trustees, in their absolute power and discretion, may utilize the Trust Fund or its income, in whole or in part, as they deem appropriate, for any or all of the following objectives. These activities are to be carried out without any distinction of caste, creed, or religion, and are open to the general public:
- To promote education: Establish, maintain, and support schools, colleges, technical and commercial institutions for the advancement of education. This includes setting up boarding houses, hostels, reading rooms, libraries, research laboratories, and other educational facilities for public benefit.
- To support meritorious and underprivileged individuals: Provide scholarships, prizes, and other financial assistance to deserving and economically disadvantaged persons.
- To improve public healthcare: Establish and maintain hospitals and dispensaries, and provide financial assistance to existing medical institutions. Support the development of medical centres and research facilities for the benefit of society.
- To offer medical aid to the poor: Supply essential medicines and financial support to deserving individuals in need of medical treatment.
- To manage welfare institutions: Establish, manage, or take over institutions such as Dharamshalas, Gaushalas, Anathashrams, Sadavarts, and similar facilities that offer shelter and support to the poor and needy.
- To ensure access to safe drinking water: Undertake activities like digging wells and constructing water facilities for the benefit of the general public.
- To serve the greater good: Utilize the income of the Trust for any other purpose beneficial to the public that aligns with the spirit of public welfare, provided it does not contradict the aforementioned objectives and remains free from discrimination of caste, creed, or religion.
